Nope. But the technical materials used are similar to what you'd find in cool climate outdoor apparel so they have modest temperature control. rü lunch bags are soft-shell so they fit easily into work fridges. And lots of folks use ice packs to keep food cool for a few hours as well.

rüs are not suitable if you need strict temperature requirements or if you work outside without access to a fridge.
do rüs close?

Yep! They feature a roll top seal so nothing should spill out when you roll the top down 2 or more times and clip the buckle. 💦
will it fit my food containers?

The largest container that will fit is 6" wide and 8" long. So if you rely on wide, squat salad containers then a rü may not be the right lunch bag for you. 🤷‍♂️

rüs and tötes are made from 100% recycled GRS certified fabric. Our fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and we've conducted third party tests too.

That means it's safe for humans and free from harmful substances—such as PVC, formaldehyde, phthalates, heavy metals, bisphenol A (BPA), and dioxin—at every level of production. From the person weaving the fabric to the person packing their lunch.

Fantastic lunch bag

It’s spacious and well made. It cleans well and keeps liquids inside when they spill.

I had high hopes for this lunch bag. I love that it’s washable. Other than that I don’t really care for it. There is a weird divider that made it difficult to put larger containers into it, it didn’t stay rolled after I clipped it shut, which defeated the purpose of being “waterproof”.

Was a total impulse buy as I prepared to start a new job!!! And I have never been so happy or excited by something I didn’t know I needed!! It holds so much, and is really easy to carry. But maybe even better, the bold design makes me smile. I even sent pictures to a few friends. Lol.

Great bag!

I love the pattern of this bag (camo with cute dinosaurs here and there), love how I can scrunch it down, and love that it’s washable. The only comment I have is that there is a pocket in it that repeatedly gets in the way- the pocket is not deep enough to hold anything and gaps open so some things end up in the pocket and others don’t. I’m trying to figure out how to cut it out without ruining the rest of the bag as I do really like it. :-)

For daughter

We love our bag as it can accommodate any size lunch I pack for my daughter - rolling down to the size needed when small and expanded when larger. The niffy closure becomes a nice handle for carrying as well. The only request would be to have a non-black interior because it is difficult to see what is inside. More unisex colors/designs/patterns would be nice as well.
